About Me
I'm Emily
If you're here, you're probably looking for a photographer who cares about you — not just the photos. I'm a wedding, senior portrait, branding, and equestrian photographer based on Chicago's North Shore, and I serve South Florida throughout the year.
I fell into photography the way most people do — by accident. Taking pictures of friends turned into assisting at weddings, which turned into building a business around real moments. Somewhere along the way, I realized I wasn't just documenting milestones. I was becoming part of people's lives.
I've photographed high school seniors who later called me to shoot their engagements, and engaged couples who trusted me with their wedding day, and then their growing family. That "lifecycle" is my favorite thing about this work — I get to be there for all of it.
Hopeless romantic, total horse girl, lover of light, travel, and the soft glowing colors that make a photograph feel like a memory you can hold.
Growing up, I was the girl at the barn. Horses have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. When I lost my own horse, photography became a way to honor that bond — the connection between horse and rider — in a way words never could. Equestrian photography isn't just a service I offer. It's personal.
I'm the person who'll text you about your outfit two days before the session, talk you through it when you feel awkward in front of the camera, and tear up a little when I deliver your gallery. My Favorite Things
Golden hour on the North Shore lakefront with my camera, or a quiet morning on the barn — those are the moments where everything just makes sense.
Online shopping for outfits I'll add to the client closet and then 'accidentally' keep. Also, iced coffee at any temperature below 80 degrees.
My husband, my horses, my camera, and a really good playlist. In that order. Okay, some days the playlist moves up.
Anything Mediterranean with a full-bodied red. Cocktail hour? French 75, always. Followed by dessert — non-negotiable.
I'm not just your photographer — I'm your biggest fan.
