There’s a reason Boca Raton reminds me so much of the North Shore of Chicago — the same commitment to excellence, the same investment in family and education, the same appreciation for things done beautifully. With a median household income above $106,000 and some of the top-rated schools in the state, Boca is a community that values quality, and that’s exactly the kind of photography I deliver. As a photographer who works between Chicago’s North Shore and the Florida coast, I feel completely at home here. Boca Raton families and I speak the same language.
Senior Portraits in Boca Raton
Boca Raton is home to some of the most elite private schools in South Florida, and I love working with seniors from Saint Andrew’s School, Pine Crest School, and American Heritage Schools — students who are accomplished, driven, and headed for incredible things. Your senior portraits should reflect that. Not the stiff, over-posed shots from a chain studio, but real, elevated, editorial images that capture your personality and confidence right now, in this moment.
For session locations, Boca gives us so much to work with. Mizner Park is one of my favorites for seniors — the Mediterranean-inspired architecture, open plazas, palm-lined walkways, and the energy of downtown Boca create a backdrop that feels polished and youthful at the same time. For something more natural, Red Reef Park offers beachside sessions with the Atlantic Ocean, rocky coastline, and that incredible South Florida golden-hour light. And Spanish River Park gives us the best of both worlds — a nature trail winding through coastal hammock that opens up to a quiet, pristine stretch of beach.
Every senior session includes professional hair and makeup, a detailed wardrobe consultation, and my full creative direction. You show up, you feel incredible, and we create something you’ll be proud to share everywhere — from college dorm walls to Instagram.
I also photograph graduation portraits at both Florida Atlantic University and Lynn University. FAU’s campus, with over 30,000 students and its striking modern architecture, offers fantastic backdrops for cap-and-gown portraits. Lynn University’s intimate, beautifully landscaped campus in the heart of Boca provides a more private, garden-like setting. If you’re graduating from either school and want portraits that go far beyond the standard assembly-line photo, let’s create something worth framing.
Weddings in Boca Raton
Boca Raton has one of the most impressive collections of wedding venues in all of Florida, and I’ve had the privilege of photographing at several of them.
The Boca Raton Resort is the crown jewel — over 200 waterfront acres on the Intracoastal Waterway, with a pink palazzo tower, manicured tropical gardens, a private beach, and ballrooms that range from intimate to grand. A wedding at The Boca Raton is an experience, and photographing there means working with some of the most beautiful light and architecture in the state. I know the property well, and I know exactly where to take you for portraits that capture the full scale of the setting.
The Addison is a Boca Raton landmark — a 1925 estate designed by Addison Mizner himself, with 100-year-old banyan trees that create a natural cathedral of arching branches and dappled light. The Addison’s courtyard ceremonies, with those ancient trees framing the couple, produce some of the most romantic, timeless wedding images I’ve ever captured. There is simply no other venue like it.
Waterstone Resort and Marina sits directly on the Intracoastal with panoramic water views, a modern aesthetic, and sunset light that pours across the marina during cocktail hour. For couples who want a contemporary waterfront celebration with a more relaxed, resort-style energy, Waterstone is exceptional.
My wedding photography is rooted in documentary storytelling — I photograph your day as it unfolds, capturing the real emotions and unscripted moments that make weddings extraordinary. I also make sure the formal portraits and venue details are executed with precision and artistry. Hair and makeup for bridal portraits is always included.
Branding Photography for Boca Raton Professionals
Boca Raton’s business community is polished, ambitious, and deeply image-conscious — in the best possible way. I work with realtors, attorneys, financial advisors, wellness professionals, and entrepreneurs throughout Boca who understand that their visual brand is often the first impression a potential client gets. If your headshot is a selfie or a five-year-old photo from a different career, we should talk.
Branding sessions in Boca can be tailored to your industry and your aesthetic. Mizner Park offers a clean, upscale urban backdrop with excellent natural light. The lobbies and grounds of The Boca Raton Resort provide instant credibility for luxury-market professionals. And for lifestyle brands, the lush tropical settings of Red Reef Park and the Morikami Museum grounds bring a natural, editorial warmth that photographs beautifully.
Session Locations in Boca Raton
Mizner Park — The cultural heart of downtown Boca Raton. Mediterranean architecture, an open-air amphitheater, palm-lined promenades, and a lively atmosphere that gives portraits an urban-chic energy. Perfect for senior sessions, branding, and couples.
Red Reef Park — A 67-acre oceanfront park with a rocky shoreline, tidal pools, and wide beach. The natural textures here — sea grape trees, weathered limestone, the turquoise Atlantic — create a moody, organic backdrop that works for everything from senior portraits to engagement sessions.
Morikami Museum and Japanese Gardens — This is Boca Raton’s hidden gem for photography. Over 200 acres of Japanese-inspired gardens, koi ponds, bamboo groves, arched bridges, and raked sand gardens create an editorial, almost otherworldly setting. For clients who want something truly different, Morikami delivers images that look like they were shot in Kyoto, not South Florida.
Spanish River Park — A nature boardwalk through coastal hammock leading to one of the most beautiful public beaches in Boca. The mix of dense tropical foliage and open coastline gives us incredible range within a single session.
